Friday Sermon in Gaza Support

The first Friday of the new year became the seventh day of continuous rocket attacks on the distressful Gaza land. The sermon of the Imam of the Kiev mosque of the Islamic Cultural Center was devoted to the disturbing for the heart of every Muslim event, occurring to our brothers in Palestine.

"Islam does not support hatred and violence against representatives of other religions, and Jews and Christians are considered as the People of Scripture. But we are categorically against aggressive attacks on Gaza", noticed sheikh Imad Abu Ar-Rub on the Friday sermon on January, 2^nd, in the mosque of Islamic Cultural Center in Kiev.

Immoral, brutal, unjustified aggression and tyranny of the Israeli army carries away tens of lives of innocent, but brave and firm people of the Holy Land. What do they struggle for, discrimination or full genocide of Palestinian people?

Allah the Almighty said in the Holy Quran, " O ye who believe! Be not like the Unbelievers, who say of their brethren, when they are travelling through the Earth or engaged in fighting: "If they had stayed with us, they would not have died, or been slain." This that Allah may make it a cause of sighs and regrets in their hearts. It is Allah that gives Life and Death, and Allah sees well all that ye do. And if ye are slain, or die, in the way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all they could amass." (Quran, 3: 156-157)

These ayats are the direct answer on barbarous actions of invaders. Died on the way of Allah by all means will appear close to him, and will be called shahid, the one who sacrificed his life for the good of religion and for the sake of the Creator. Relying on the Almighty alone, Palestinians firmly held their ground and do not give up their positions. At the same time Zionists, ignoring the world community, without adhering to the basic legal bases about safety of a human life, daily kill tens of innocent women, old men and children, without realizing their criminal conduct.

Having surrounded the enclave with a powerful military technology, possessing modern fighters with a high hit accuracy, choose as targets of their rocket attacks houses, hospitals, educational institutions and mosques.

Observing the reaction of the world organizations, it is possible to notice only individual sessions on which till now there were not accepted any decisions concerning situation in Gaza, moreover, there is a constant putting off of discussion of the resolution.

At this time Muslims all over the world unite in support of their fellow brothers. In Europe, America and Asia constantly take place demonstrations in support of Gaza. "It means that Muslims as one organism of one body; if one organ is damaged, the whole organism will feel pain", noted Sheikh Imad. And if one organ is not functioning, the body by all means will reacts to it and will try to help to restore it.

"Nowadays each Muslim should start from himself, confess his sins and pray to Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The weapon of the believer is dua". In Muslims' hands are not duns, but hands, lifted to the Almighty, asking for His favor and help; but hearts with strong hope and trust in victory. Powerful moral attack, condemning actions of Zionists, breaking off all possible relations, boycotting their goods are real things of which everyone is capable", summed up the Imam.

In such a hard time Muslims, scattered in different parts of the world, prove to all the world that they are uniform and united, there are millions of them, and they are capable to operate and resist to their enemy.
