Ukrainian Muslims Guests of the King of the Saudi Arabia

On Tuesday, December, 2nd, Islamic Social Cultural Centre of Kiev left about 50 Ukrainian Muslims to carry out one of obligatory ceremonies of Islam – Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah). For the first time the delegation of pilgrims from different regions of Ukraine will perform Hajj as visitors of the king of Saudi Arabia Abdullah ibn Abdel-Aziz, the trustee of two holy mosques in Makkah and Medina.

The All-Ukrainian Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" and Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea (SMMC) were engaged in organizational questions and preparation of pilgrims. Specially for this event was published the directory at fulfillment of Hajj with good advices for those who is going to perform it.

To see off the pilgrims came also representatives of mass-media. Ismail Kadi in his interview to television channel "Inter" told what waits for the Ukrainian pilgrims on the holy land, explained the importance of Hajj in a life of every Muslim and its ceremonies, and in the end he promised to ask from the Allah peace and well-being for Ukraine and its fellow citizens.

It was easily to notice pleasure on the faces of those lucky people who for a long time waved their hands from the bus going to the airport to seeing off relatives and brothers.

It is necessary to note that Hajj is one of five pillars of religion which every believer having necessary means has to perform.
