Help to the Needy in Ramadan Days

 In the days of the Holy Month of Ramadan regional representation of the AUASO "Аlraid" in Crimea, with support of the Kuwaiti organization “Ar-Rahma al-Amin” (“World mercy”) organized distribution of grocery sets for orphans and the needy.

The similar actions dated for the beginning of this Blessed Month, are carried out annually.

Products are given to the people who addressed for help to the AUASO "Alraid" in the course of the current of year; to orphans; and also those who receives grants. Several days before Ramadan requirement of each concrete family for the help was found out by telephone.

This year employees of the organization prepared 100 sets for the needy. Each set contained foodstuff for maintenance of at least minimum satisfaction of requirements of an average family in this Holy Month. One set consisted of 10 kg of sugar, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of dates, 5 kg of pasta, 10 kg of onions, 5 l of sunflower-seed oil and 7 kg of cookies.

Also in the Islamic Cultural Centre of Simferopol twice a week (on Tuesday and Friday) are carried out joint Iftars in the course of the whole month of Ramadan.
