Islamic Scholars from Muslim countries came to Ukraine in Ramadan

This year already traditionally Islamic cultural centers invite Islamic scholars for enrichment of knowledge of Muslims of Ukraine in the Holy Month of Ramadan. Following the invitation from the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid", with assistance of embassies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Republic of Egypt, and also the Ministries on Affairs of Religions of these two countries, during the fast in Ukraine will stay seven Islamic scholars.

As "Islam in Ukraine" was informed in the press-service of the AUASO "Alraid", foreign visitors are graduates of the most authoritative theological universities in the Islamic world — Cairo university "Al-Azhar" and the University of Medina; and represent traditional Islam and ideas of "wasatiya" (Arabic for moderation, equation, centrism).

All sheikhs will conduct lessons and lectures for local Muslims, and also will be Imams in collective prayers.

"This is not only and not so much cultural exchange, this is, first of all, invaluable possibility for our fellow countrymen on extension and deepening of their knowledge; studying of additional religious arguments; and also of the development of versatile judgment of each of the questions, after all each scholar has his own approach to suggesting topics and selection of an illustrative material", the Association emphasizes.

Among sheikhs there are three hafizes from the city of Medina who will carry out joint prayers-taraweeh in the cities of Ukraine: Ahmad Dzhilani in Odessa, Ali Amir in Kharkov, and Ashur Ar-Ruvayli in Kiev.

In the capital of Ukraine the Islamic knowledge in the course of this noble month will be spread by two visitors-scholars.

Sheikh Ashur Muhammad, the graduate of "Al-Azhar" and the Imam of a mosque in Egypt, will conduct daily lessons about morals of Muslims. Moreover, the Sheikh will deliver a number of lectures about companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him; and also 4 rakats of taraweeh and sermons after them.

Sheikh Muhammad Ar-Ruvayli, the graduate of the University of Medina; operating mosques of the district from the Ministry on Affairs of Religion of the KSA, will play a role of Imam in five daily obligatory prayers. He also will conduct lessons of tajweed (rules of reading of the Quran) after Asr prayer; give lectures on life of the companions; and also conduct 4 rakats in tarawih prayers with reading of the sermons after them according to the schedule.

In the AUASO "Alraid" pray to the Almighty that He blessed the Muslims of Ukraine to the most advantage of stay of these scholars on the Ukrainian land; that He accepted fast and prayers to Him, and arranged affairs of the believers in the best way in both worlds.
