The Congress of Ukrainian Muslims at this difficult time is supporting compatriots, both civilians and those who are defending Ukraine with weapons. Islamic cultural centers have announced a collection of donations that are purchased and transferred to hospitals, medicine and products, preparation of food and feeding refugees and people that are in need, and also finding the opportunity for food aid to Ukrainians, who are under occupation, at the expense of fellow believers.
Non-Muslim organization are also helping Islam followers in doing good deeds. In particular, in Lviv the Islamic Cultural Centre named after Muhammad Asad, due to the cooperation with charitable foundations «Rozvytok hromady» and «Nash dim Lʹviv» were able to acquire and send to places that are prescript for medication, products and some of necessary things for children.
Meanwhile, Congress calls fellow believers not to bypass the open doors of good:
“A call to the dear brothers and sisters, that were with us in peaceful days: we invite you to stay with us in war days! Let’s continue our journey of donations and charity, despite the wounds and pain, - said in a statement of the Chernivtsi ICC. There are many directions and open doors, that are inviting people to enter them!”
