The Academic Year in Sunday Schools is Over

The students of Sunday schools in different cities of Ukraine passed the last exam and finished one more half of academic year. For some of them it was the last academic year, because near 60 people graduated. The majority obtained a distinction and made their teachers happy. “Many students of our schools obtain “excellent” marks, are active during the lessons, regularly do their home task, and successfully pass their exams – it means that Arabic language is very interesting for them, and our schools are popular, so we can’t but be happy” – totaled the academic year results the principle of Kiev school “An-Nur” Dr. Muawia al-Matarne.

Concert programs, where there were made students’ farewells and where they got their diplomas, were held in Sunday schools. “We thank our students for their diligence, hard work and patience and we wish them well-being in their future life, as they are the speakers of the Holy Quran language. Because everyone who got a diploma today has become one of 350 million people, who know Arabic language. This is a monumental achievement” – said the principal of Arabic Language Learning Center “Sibawaih” in Crimea Dr. Alyaiddin al-Garbawi.

Sunday schools of learning of Arabic language – one of the ancient languages in the world, the language of the Holy Quran, are affiliated to local organizations and successfully work in many regions of Ukraine. Besides learning of Arabic language the schools provide familiarity with Oriental culture and the principles of muslim dogma.
