“Senin evlyadın, Vatanım!” — “I’m Your Child, My Fatherland!”

Guests of the Female Social Organisation “Noor” were granted with a good possibility of crying out for the situation in the occupied Crimea and addressing their questions directly to members of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis governing board at an event “Senin evlyadın, Vatanım!” — “I’m Your Child, My Fatherland!”, which took place on April 23. This resulted in an audience of more than 100 young people that gathered at Simferopol Islamic Cultural Centre.

There were so many people wanting to hear comments from Ms. Emine Avamileva and Ms. Aider Ajimambetov and ask them some questions, that they had to change the agenda and prolong the meeting. Mr. Timur Selimshaev sang about the beauty of the peninsula, and “Meydan FM” Contest winner Seyrany 7’62 presented his new song “Qırım. Vatan. Millet” (“Crimea. Homeland. The People”).

The event definitely succeeded: some of the audience who planned to leave in the middle of the event were so interested, that they re-scheduled their plans and meetings in order to see and hear all of it.
