Ukrainian pilgrims are back home

A pilgrim group came back to Ukraine from Jeddah on November 6, 2012. After staying in holy lands for 18 days, joyful hajis have been coming back home, to their friends and relatives for whom they were restlessly supplicating (reciting dua) to the Most High.

There were some who caught acute respiratory viral infection at the end of the stay in Saudi Arabia, but this could not diminish their zeal in worship and seeking for best possible spiritual benefits from traveling to the lands that are holy for each and every Muslim.

It should be reminded that the total number of Muslims going to Haj from Ukraine on October 17, 2012 is 165, including 35 women. It was the first time that a charter flight to Medina was organized for them; in previous year pilgrims used to travel by transit flights with transshipment in a third country. 

Pilgrims have expressed deep gratitude to the Association “Alraid” and the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine “Ummah”, which take active part in high-quality organization of pilgrimage for Ukrainian Muslims and offer leaders for pilgrim groups.
