Iftar from the All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations “Alraid” for delegates of Kurultay

It was on July 21, 2012, at the end of the first working day of the 4th session of Kurultay of the 4th convocation that the “Alraid” office in Crimea organized iftar (fast breaking, taking food after sunset, after abstaining from eating and drinking during the whole day, which begins from the daybreak) for Kurultay delegates, secular and religious leaders of Crimean Tatar people. The event hosted by the Crimean Tatar restaurant “Aishe” is part of the program for cooperation with Crimean Tatar people in the person of their leaders (note that nearly 500,000 Crimean Tatar coming from deportation live in Crimea).
Iftar was attended at Mr.Mustafa Jamilyov, chairman of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar nation; Mr.Refat Chubarov, his deputy-chairman; Mr. Emirali Ablayev, the religious leader of Crimean Tatar Muslims; Dr. Mohammad Taha, chairman of the Crimean office of “Alraid”; Mejlis members, delegates and quests of the 4th session of Crimean Tatar Kurultay of the 4th convocation, representatives of the Crimean office of “Alraid” and Crimean Tatar public organizations.
The iftar was attended by Sheikh Tarik Hafni, a guest of “Alraid” for the Holy Ramadan and a representative of the “Al-Azhar” University (Egypt), located in Cairo, which is one of the oldest universities in the world and a Muslim religious academic university of the highest merit. Sheikh Hafni will be staying in Crimea for the whole Ramadan, to deliver lectures and sermons and to lead collective tarawih prayers in the mosque of the Islamic Cultural Center in the city of Simferopol. The Egyptian Sheikh congratulated everyone with the blessed month of Ramadan. It is the month of zealous worship, reading of the Koran and performing of good deeds. Sheikh Tarik Hafni wished that the Kurultay session should be a significant good deed in this holy month. He also wished success to Mejlis and blessings of the Most High to the Crimean Tatar people.
