What Women Want

In the Islamic Cultural Centre of Kharkov took place the female spring conference devoted to the question which excites minds of all people for hundreds of years, "What women want?"

At the conference there were present more than 80 girls and women of different ages, social statuses and different creeds, they together celebrated the approach of spring and discussed the most important for women desires and ways of their achievement.   The first spring meeting of the female club started with reading of the Holy Quran and the small reporting held on the eve of the meeting where women, men and even children could express their opinions. The most interesting was that the majority of opinions on female desires were brief: love and family happiness, children, education and career, but were also much more lyrical desires: attention, understanding, respect, peace, well-being, confidence of tomorrow and many other things.

"The spring meeting of the female club passed in the atmosphere of pleasure and cosines", told sisters and visitors of the Islamic Centre. Women listened to reports on how to realize themselves in this life with advantage for the future one, how to get confidence of the spouse and family happiness and at last, and confidence of tomorrow. On the conference end there was drawn the conclusion that to reach constant, incessant happiness, it is impossible without sincere belief in Allah the Almighty and following His Quranic reference points. For the Almighty says in the Holy Quran,

"This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper". (The Holy Quran 2:2-5)

The meeting was finished by a short comedy film about activity of the female club.

All the present received brochures devoted to the discussed theme, CDs, and could buy the Islamic literature.
