"Аlraid" participates in International Conference

8-10 of December, the chairman of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" Ismail Kadi takes part in the international conference "Problems and prospects of development of Muslim communities of the Central and Eastern Europe" which passes in Warsaw (Poland).

Conference is prepared by the Organization Islamic conference under the patronship of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Polish
Republic. At the opening of the Conference with a salutatory word acted the Secretary general of the Organization Islamic Conference, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, informs islam.ru.

In the action participate delegates from 57 member countries of the OIK and the countries having the status of the observer, and also heads of the Muslim organizations of the countries of the Central and Eastern Europe, representatives of Islamic communities. The European countries are divided into groups. So, group "A" included
Poland,
Germany,
Latvia,
Estonia,
Ukraine, group "B" -
Switzerland,
Croatia,
Serbia,
Hungary and
Denmark, group "C" -
Czechia, Slovakia,
Austria,
Slovenia.
Russia together with
Moldova,
Bosnia, and
Macedonia represent group "D".

According to the representative of the OIC Abdel-Rauf ben Rajab, participants of the conference will discuss possibilities of formation of correct opinion on Islam among Europeans.

Inquiry. The organization Islamic conference was founded on September, 25th, 1969, on the Conference of the heads of the Muslim states in
Rabat (
Morocco) for the purpose of maintenance of Islamic solidarity in social, economic and political spheres, struggle against colonialism, neo-colonialism and racism. The OIC is the largest and the most influential official governmental Muslim international organization. Nowadays it unites 57 countries with the population about 1,2 billion persons. On September, 25th, 2009, the Organizations celebrated its 40 years birthday.
