E-CRIMEA: In Simferopol took Place International Competition of Quran Readers

Simferopol took place the International Competition of the Quran Readers organized by the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Alraid".

According to the press-service of the constant representation of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, in the competition participated the readers from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Belarus, Russia.

The contestants showed knowledge of the text of the Holy Quran at the following levels: knowledge by heart of the whole Quran, a half of the Quran, a quarter of the Holy Scripture and the last three juz.

INQUIRY: Juz - literally in Arabic means "the part", one of approximately equal 30 parts of the Quran.
