Ready to celebrate Eid al-Adha? For we sure are, and looking forward to seeing you at “Alraid Islamic Cultural Centres” on the eve of 20 August for a joint iftar on the Day of Arafah, and in the morning of 21 August for the festive prayer!

Please note that even if you prefer to slaughter the sacrificial animal on your own, you can still bring the share for the needy to the nearest ICC, and we will give it to someone truly in need.

In Kyiv, the festive prayer begins at 7:30, and then there are treats, sport competitions, a fair to buy handmade, eco-goods, stylish clothes and accessories, and have mehendi done for you. Children will enjoy quiz, festive concert, facepainting, bouncy castles, and gifts. The meat is to be distributed on Wednesday (after 14:00) and Thursday (after 13:00).

In Zaporizhzhia, the festive prayer begins at 8:00, and then there are treats for the believers and gifts for their kids. The sacrifice begins on the very same day, and the meat distribution begins on Thursday on 11:00, in the ICC’s yard. Those who can’t pick their share in person due to poor health, will have in delivered on Saturday.

Vinnytsia Muslims traditionally share their festive mood with orphans, so after the prayer (which begins at 8:00), greetings, treats and festivities they are to visit an orphanage, bringing along fruit, sweets, toys and animators. The meat distribution is to begin on the very same day around Maghreb.

At Kharkiv ICC, the prayer begins at 8:00, with treats for everyone and gifts for children, animators, bubble show and cotton candies afterwards. The sacrifice begins in the noon, and the meat distribution starts at 21:00 on Tuesday and continues on 9:00 on Wednesday, 22 August.

In Sumy, the prayer begins at 8:30, with quiz and gifts for children and treats for all the guests afterwards. The believers sacrifice on their own, yet still bring 1|3 of the meat to the ICC, so that the share is distributed among the poor.

At Lviv Muhammad Asad Islamic Cultural Centre, the prayer begins at 8:30, with treats for everyone and gifts, sweets and bouncy castle for kids afterwards. The slaughtering is to be held on the very same day, yet the meat distribution begins on Wednesday, 9:30.

In Odesa, the prayer begins at 8:00, with a special programme for kids (bouncy castles, sweets, gifts and animators) and treats for everyone right after. The meat distribution starts on the very same day on 15:00.

In Dnipro, the prayer also begins at 8:00,  with a special programme for kids (quiz, bouncy castles, sweets, gifts and facepainting), and sweets and drinks (tea, coffee, water) for everyone right after. The sacrifice is held on the very same day, yet the distribution is held on Wednesday-Saturday between Dhuhr and Maghreb.
