Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Yuddy Chrisnandi, who replaced H.E. Ms.Niniek Kun Naryatie Siswojo in her mission, has carried on the wonderful tradition of friendship and cooperation and visited Kyiv Islamic Cultural Centre on Friday, 19 May. He met Mufti of RAMU “Umma” Said Ismagilov, Head of All-Ukrainian Association “Alraid” Seiran Arifov, and Director of the ICC Ismail Qady.

There’s a long history of friendship and partnership between the Embassy of Indonesia, RAMU “Umma” and All-Ukrainian Association “Alraid”, and we really appreciate the chance of meeting the new Ambassador of that country, Mr.Crisnandi.

The Ambassador did not arrive alone, though, for he was accompanied by Fadli Zon, vice speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Syofwatillah Mohzaib, the established Indonesian religious figure and Qur’an expert.

The guests took part in joint Friday prayers, and then discussed the prospects of further cooperation in cultural and religious spheres.
