Simferopol. – In the capital of the Crimean peninsula was opened one more building of Islamic Cultural Center. Now the whole complex consists of three buildings.

The edifice was built under the leadership of the All-Ukrainian Association “Alraid” and with support of Islamic bank of development. According to information of “Alraid” in Ukraine already function eight Centers of this type, working for the benefit of Muslims and Ukrainian society in the whole. The biggest of them are situated in Kyiv, Simferopol and Odessa.

The opening ceremony was attended by many political, scientific and religious figures of the region, among which were the representative of the President of Ukraine Ramzi Khawaji, Mufti of Crimea and vice-minister of Culture Emirali Ablayev and hundreds of Crimean Muslims.

The representative of the President expressed in his speech high evaluation of achievements of the Center, activity of which for more than ten years serves interests of the country’s community and expressed his gratitude and wishes of fruitful work in the future.

Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablayev also thanked the Association “Alraid” for its support to Muslims of Ukraine and Crimea and its beginnings which serve interests of Muslim society.

The Center is the first of its kind intended both for Muslims and for other citizens of Crimea. Here will be held such sections as cooking, sewing, hairdressing, computer knowledge, etc. Every section can receive about 100 people.

The mosque which can contain about 500 believers includes women’s section and is one of the most important parts of the Center.

The Center also includes a huge Hall for lectures and conferences on religious and scientific issues.
