The Contest is to be held on Friday, July 25, right after the Juma prayer. If you have any questions on participation, please approach either the local Imam, Shaikh Imad Abu-r-Rubb, or the tajweed teacher Shaikh Haydar Al-Hajj.
The participants will compete in best knowledge and finest recitation of the Holy Book in three categories: one Juz, three Juzes and 5 Juzes. There’s no separate category gor native Arabic speakers this time, but still the jury promised some indulgence for non-Arabic-speaking contestants.
