On October, 30th, the tournament on chess, organized within the precincts of the AUASO "Alraid" by the Social Organization "Emel" together with the Ministry of Affairs of Youth and Sports, Culture and Science of the AR of Crimea took place.

In the competition took part representatives of chess clubs and universities of Simferopol. The action was carried out within the limits of preliminary preparation for the all-Ukraine tournament on chess.

Following the results of this first meeting the first place and the cup of the tournament won Alexander Ledakov. The second and third places were occupied by Alexander Shamakin and Michael Semuhin.

All three prize-winners were awarded by monetary gifts at the rate of 300, 200 and 100 hrivnyas accordingly.

Carrying out of this tournament was planned by the SO "Emel" in the spring of 2011.
