Ceremonial opening of the mosque built by the local community of faithful jointly with the All-Ukrainian Association of Public Organizations “Alraid” will be held on November 2, 2012, 11.00 a.m., in Veresayevo village (Saki district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

Mr. Emirali Ablayev, Mufti of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea, Mr. Bassil Mareei, “Alraid” chairman, Mr. Rustem Mustafayev, head of Veresayevo village council, Mr.Sergey Karlashenko, chairman of Saki district administration, members of Crimean Tatars’ Mejlis and Crimean Parliament are expected to come to share joy of this event with local Muslims. 

The first Friday prayer will be performed in the mosque on the same day.

Being aware that a mosque for Crimean Tatars is not merely a space for cult observation, but also the center for cultural and community life and cultural renaissance, “Alraid” takes active part in restoration of old mosques and building new ones across the peninsula.
